From the 29th of june to the 3rd of july Graffiti Research Lab Germany went on a road trip to Vigo, Spain to perform on the festival “Vigo Transforma”. After a nice LED Throwie Action with almost 1000 throwies we let the Vigo people bomb the main habour building with blitztag.
GRL Germany and street-lab.net did a LED Throwie workshop at ODC Berlin where approx. 350 Throwies have been built. In the evening those were installed at Kottbusser Tor.
The Klubhaus “Erich Weinert” was build in the early 1950s. 1996 the Discothek “Euro Tower” was located here. But not for long. Since then the whole building is empty. But still there are a lot of remains of the time, people where partying here.
An abandoned repair shop in Weissensee. The place seems to be renovated, so it won’t be there for long. Most impressive part of the location is a big gate on the backside of the building. It looks like the gateway to a ww2 bunker, a post apocalyptic scenery.
The “Theaterschiff TAU” at the Urban Krankenhaus in Kreuzberg is an impressiv shipwreck. One of the things that make it that impressiv is the fact that it is located in the middle of a city, a place where at least I would not expect any shipwrecks.
